Xbox Game Pass is growing once more in September 2024, with a range of new games arriving for keen players of strategy sims, sports games, and those who love trains (we know you’re out there). While the list of new titles is relatively humble, it’s made grander by day one launches for a range of anticipated games.
As in most months, there are also some departures on the way, but that’s how it goes on Xbox Game Pass. Games arrive, enjoy their time in the sun, and then depart with a brief wave.

Xbox Game Pass: New Games for September 2024
Here’s all the launching on Xbox Games Pass in September 2024:

- Riders Republic (Console, PC, Cloud) – Available now: “From snowy mountains to arid canyons, roam free in a huge open world comprised of iconic U.S. national parks. Grab your bike, skis, snowboard, or wingsuit and explore a sports paradise where the rules are yours to make.”
- Train Sim World 5 (Console, PC, Cloud) – Available now: “Take on new challenges and new roles as you master the tracks and trains of iconic cities across three new routes. Immerse yourself in the ultimate rail hobby and embark on your next journey.”
- Wargroove 2 (Console, PC, Cloud) – Available 19 September: “Embark on an all-new adventure filled with unlikely friendships, unknown adversaries, and ugly revenge plots.”
- Frostpunk 2 (PC) – Available 20 September: “Take the role of a Steward and lead your city through a cascade of calamities taking place in a post-apocalyptic, snowy setting.”
- Ara: History Untold (PC) – Available 24 September: “Ara: History Untold is an evolution in historical grand strategy, featuring beloved classic PC strategy mechanics alongside innovative gameplay.”
